Lip Filler Aftercare – Expert Advice

Lip Filler is a popular cosmetic treatment and has minimal downtime. You may experience slight bruising and swelling after lip augmentation but this decreases within 3-7 days after the treatment. You can apply a cold compress to the area after treatment to encourage the swelling to decrease. It would be advised to avoid social events for a few days after the treatment, just in case a bruise does appear. If you do have a bruise, applying some arnica cream can help.

Clients cannot drink alcohol for 24 hours after the treatment and must avoid vigorous exercise.

Lip Augmentation – What To Expect.

At Inside Aesthetics we apply a thick layer of topical numbing cream to the lip area and allow it to absorb for 20-25 minutes before performing the treatment. The numbing cream will help any discomfort that could be experienced.

Our practitioners will then discuss the different types of filler we offer at Inside Aesthetics (different brands and volumes) and the desired result you want. We offer different techniques depending on the shape and look you want.

The Lip Filler product used has lidocaine combined with the hyaluronic acid making the treatment more comfortable and safe.

Lip Augmentation can be reversed by using an injection of hyalase, an enzyme that dissolves most types of lip filler. If you want to book a consultation to learn more about the treatment, please contact 01233 556622.
